Living on Key Marco

Outdoor Living
Unique to our preserve is Key Marco’s “sounds of silence”: the rustling palms, the whistles of the nesting osprey or the splash of dolphins from our surrounding waters. Surrounded by natural preserves and glistening bays, it seems to take less time to relax and renew within a greener waterfront environment.

Many residents say they boost their mood and sense of peace and well-being by simply being among our exotic wild life, watching pelicans storks, pink spoonbills, ibis, osprey, owls and songbirds soaring above the mangroves or resting in their natural environments. Or enjoy the frequent scenes of our giant gopher tortoises
moving along in their relaxed way, dining on native grasses.

"Our kids love to watch the schools of fish racing under our dock."

"You just can't beat a peaceful cruise among the 10.000 Islands!"

"Biking and jogging on this private island keeps us safe and in shape."

Water Sports Galore!
Located at the end of the Island, Key Marco's exclusive Marina provides permanent dock slips for all homeowners. Because they enjoy direct access, owners can easily explore the Gulf of Mexico as well as the 10,000 Islands of Southwest Florida.

"The variety of birds we see in one day is amazing!"

Others also enjoy the solitude of kayak trips around Key Marco and the surrounding area of tranquil islands and a multitude of secluded beaches.

Marco Island's waters offer some of the best fishing in the world. There is a great variety of fish caught in and around Marco. Some spectacular and challenging fish include Tarpon, Permit, Cobia Shark and King Mackerel. Others, easier to catch, include Sheephead, Snook, Redfish, Snapper, Ladyfish, Grouper, Sea Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Catfish Pampano and Crevalle Jack.
